PDS Super L is the best Lubricant on the market for Drilling & Coiled Tubing stage drillouts.  PDS Super L's primary function is to provide surface-to-surface lubricity, allowing one solid to slide by another with ease..  In this role, PDS Super L is unparalleled, but it also provides exceptional well-bore stability, fluid loss prevention, and rheology control.

While highly compatible and effective with all types of water-based muds, PDS Super L has become the product of choice for oil-based muds.  Depending upon the mud formulation, PDS Super L can improve the oil mud lubricity by over 50 percent.  Some companies use it in this capacity merely as an “additive”.  Others actually make it part of the blend, using as much as 50% of it in lieu of alpha olephins.  Theoretically, you can create an oil based mud using this ingredient instead of the alpha olephins.
